Had Pippi Longstocking lived today she probably would have been given Ritalin.

Papers Cannot Wrap Up Embers

Some of the despaired prostitutes speaking in this movie could have made their living from writing poetry if such a thing had been possible.

What do you want to stare at when you grow up

There's something a bit disturbing about the feeling that I can spend my entire life watching my cats playing.

Another thing about chocolate

Chocolate, for me, has the same strange symmetry water does. Water expands both when it's freezing and it's boiling. Chocolate is what I consume both when I'm too sad and too jolly.

Autograding

In my role as a lector for the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival I reached a conclusion that when I give a film a grade of 5 from a scale of 1 to 5 I'm also giving myself a grade of 5, meaning, I trust myself to have a better discretion than those who would have given it only 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Hello, could I please talk to Mao

I wanted to call Mao tonight to say hi what's up and I love you. The thing is that Mao doesn't know about the phone. So first thing when I get home I should teach him how to use it.

Mao has a visitor

Mao had a visitor today: Itai, Mao's "biological father", who told me one of Mao's bravery stories. When the two of them first met, Mao clung to Itai's car engine from underneath, and Itai tried to scare him away with water and sorts, and eventually had to put on gloves, open the engine's cover and pull Mao all the way through.
